Project Description: The Need: To provide for the educational needs of the street children
There are thousands of boys living in the streets of Mumbai (Bombay). They are ignored, abused, uneducated and lost. Bombay Teen Challenge has been effectively reaching out to these boys for 17 years. Funds are needed to help meet the physical, educational and physical needs of these young people.
(Individual Items: Admission Fees - $140 per boy; School Fees - $90 per boy; Textbooks - $27 per child; Stationery - $10.25 per boy; Rain/Scout Shoes - $16 per child; Raincoats & Umbrellas - $6.50 per child; Computers - $625 each; School bags - $6.50 each; Uniforms - $25 each; Water Bottles & Tiffin Boxes (Food Carriers) - $3.25 each)
