Reaching Unreached Turkish Speakers – Bulgaria Christ Resurrection Ministries

Bulgaria has some of the largest unreached people groups in Europe. There are many villages where Turkish, not Bulgarian, is people’s first language. Christ Resurrection Ministries teams bring gifts of food and Bibles. The cost to reach a village is $250. Living in one of Europe’s poorest countries, few children have anything to do in summertime. They readily welcome the chance to attend Christian camp, but lack funds. A sheep can become an income-generating project for a child. The child will be taught how to care for the sheep, and it will provide milk for nourishment and for sale. In December of 2012, we made an appeal for prayer for Syrian refugees. We then asked for help with funds and supplies to aid this ongoing humanitarian crisis. Our friends heard and responded. In February of 2013, the first container of clothing, blankets, and food left for the Middle East to be distributed by our ministry partners in Jordan. But the need for relief shows no sign of easing. Our second container was shipped April 15, 2013. We are now praying and planning to provide a third container of much-needed supplies for the suffering refugees, many of whom are our Christian brothers and sisters.

For $2,450, a guitar and keyboard can be purchased to bless and minister in this way.

Philippine Gospel Association shares the love of Jesus through medical missions. Dental instruments are needed for volunteer dentists due to the increasing number of dental patients at free clinics. The cost to purchase the needed instruments is $670.

In Vietnam, many pastors care for more than one church. Congregations provide only meager living allowances for their pastors, and they cannot also provide travel and outreach expenses. One of the greatest needs in North Korea is to provide genuine Bible training for the pastors and church leaders of the underground churches. MP4 players with SD cards containing the Korean Bible, notes, 100 biblical textbooks, 50-80 hymns and 10 full-length gospel films (including the “Jesus” film) can be supplied for a gift of just $65 each.

Since 1994 North Korea has experienced great deprivation. Some estimate that 2.5 million have died from starvation. Observers report people scouring hillsides for grass to eat—which then makes them sick. We partner with a ministry that has an open door to send containers of medical supplies into this closed land. An entire container can be filled and sent for $4000.
